First you will need to fill out the listing contract and application forms that will be provided to you. Once the listing paperwork is completed and returned to the AZ Short Sale Team, a Listing Specialist will immediately get to work marketing and promoting your property to find a buyer.  Most of our short sale listings attract multiple offers and many end up in bidding wars!  

Once we have procured one or more offers on your property, one of our Short Sale Specialists will submit the "Short Sale Package" to your lender(s).   Some of the things they will be required for the short sale package include:

  • Full disclosure of your current financial situation.
  • Hardship letter.
  • Last two paystubs for all working borrowers (including L&I and unemployment benefits).
  • Last two years’ tax returns.
  • Last two bank statements.
  • Last six months’ profit and loss statement (if self employed).
  • Authorization to disclose personal information.
The lender will likely require additional information, which we will collect from you and review before submitting it to the lender.
